In short

  • We store your studio's account data and whatever leads or client data you enter. You control it, we just host it.
  • We never sell your data or your clients' data to anyone.
  • Payments go through Razorpay; we never see your full card or bank details.
  • Some processing happens on servers outside India (see our sub-processor list below).
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data anytime. Just email us.
  • We follow the consent and data-principal-rights principles of India's DPDP Act, 2023.

This summary is for convenience only. The full sections below are what actually governs.

This Privacy Policy explains how KLOUZ ("we", "us", "our"), operated by KLIQORA, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use KLOUZ. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we act as the Data Fiduciary for account-level data about you and your studio, and as a data processor for the lead and client data your studio enters into KLOUZ. More on that split in Section 11.

1. Who we are

KLOUZ is operated by KLIQORA, registered address [Registered Address, City, State, PIN], India. You can reach us at support@kliqora.com.

2. Scope

This policy covers KLOUZ's website and CRM application. It doesn't cover third-party sites we link to, or services your studio integrates independently of KLOUZ.

3. Information we collect

  • Account and studio data. Name, email, phone number, studio name, and staff details you provide when signing up.
  • Client and lead data. Information your studio enters about its own leads and clients, such as names, contact numbers, shoot details, and communication history, which you control and are responsible for.
  • Payment data. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We don't store your full card or bank details; Razorpay handles this under its own security standards and KYC requirements.
  • Usage data. Log data, device information, and in-app activity, collected to maintain and improve the service.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the service
  • Process subscription payments
  • Send service-related communication, including WhatsApp messages you configure for your leads
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse
  • Improve KLOUZ based on usage patterns

We don't sell your data or your clients' data to third parties.

6. Who we share data with

We share limited data with service providers strictly to operate KLOUZ. These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.

7. Cross-border data transfer

Some of the providers above store or process data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act currently permits transfers of personal data outside India, except to countries specifically restricted by the Government of India. We only work with providers that maintain industry-standard security practices, and we'll update this section if that changes.

8. Data retention

We retain account and client data for as long as your studio account is active. If you close your account, we retain data for up to 30 days to allow export or recovery, after which it's deleted, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons (for example, payment records).

9. How we protect data

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view studio data. Each studio's data is logically isolated from other studios on the platform.

10. Your rights

As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you can:

  • Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Ask us to erase your data, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing at any time
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated
  • Register a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it isn't resolved

To exercise any of these, email support@kliqora.com from your account email. We'll respond within 15 days.

11. Studios and their clients' data

When your studio enters information about its own leads and clients into KLOUZ, your studio is the Data Fiduciary for that data, and we're the processor acting on your instructions. You're responsible for having a valid basis, typically consent, to collect and process your clients' data, and for responding to any rights request your own clients raise with you directly. KLOUZ's tools let you access, correct, and delete client records to help you meet that responsibility.

12. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. Since these cookies are necessary for the service to function, they aren't subject to a cookie-consent banner, but you're free to clear them from your browser whenever you like.

13. Children's privacy

KLOUZ is intended for business use by studios and their staff, not for individuals under 18. We don't knowingly collect data directly from children, and we don't knowingly let anyone under 18 create a Studio account.

14. Data breach notification

If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we'll notify affected studios and, where required, the Data Protection Board of India, without undue delay.

15. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for KLOUZ is:

[Grievance Officer Name]
Email: support@kliqora.com
Address: [Registered Address, City, State, PIN]

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
